Murumuru Butter

Murumuru Butter is derived from an amazonian species of seeds of astrocaryum murumuru. Murumuru butter is rich in fatty acids, including lauric acid and myristic acid, which helps to support and strengthen the natural skin barrier and prevent moisture loss. Studies have shown that murumuru butter is more effective at maintaining hydration within the skin compared to shea butter.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid naturally occurs within our skin and serves the purpose of supporting the skin's ability to withhold water. With age, our skin's ability to produce its own production of hyaluronic acid declines, which can lead to increased dehydration, the appearance of fine lines and loss of elasticity. HA Has the ability to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water to support and maintain hydration in the skin's dermis.. Hyaluronic acid visibly reduces the appearance and depth of fine lines and wrinkles and creates a pluming effect on the skin.

Prickly Pear

Prickly Pear seed oil is highly researched for its skin rejuvenating effects which are particularly characterised by a high content of naturally occurring vitamin E, plant sterols, and fatty acids. These characteristics are responsible for improved skin elasticity, scar healing and remarkable barrier strengthening effects. Prickly Pear oil has the highest naturally occurring levels of vitamin E

Betaine

is an amino acid which is naturally derived from sugar beets. This phytoactive ingredient restores hydration and moisture to the skin's layers and strengthens the skin's barrier function. Betaine has an important role in controlling osmosis regulation within the skin's cells which ultimately prevents the loss of water inorder to keep the skin plump, hydrated and youthful.

Tremella Mushroom

This game changing, plant based ingredient is known as the beauty mushroom. Tremella holds a powerful ability to hydrate the skin and support collagen production. Tremella is known to hold 5 times more water than hyaluronic acid when applied to the skin which gives it incredible youth restoring, plumping capabilities.

Avocado oil

Avocado oil is rich in polyphenols and phytonutrients which work to restore skin elasticity and hydration. Creating a healthy skin barrier that locks in moisture and helps shield skin from free radical damage, pollution and other external aggressors

Licorice Extract

Licorice root is a super effective skin brightener and pigmentation fader! This extract is considered a natural, plant based tyrosinase inhibitors which is known to reverse the signs of pigmentation to lighten and remove dark spots. Studies have also shown that Licorice root extract contains an active compound called liquiritin, which helps to breakdown and remove existing melanin in the skin. This compound suggests that licorice root may even be effective at preventing pigmentation as well as improving it.
