As women it is important that we stand together and break down gender equality barriers. We need to stand together to celebrate women, all their differences and the right to equality.
In honor of international women's day we thought we would share with you some very special women who inspire us.

Who inspires you ? My friends. I think it's important to surround yourself with people that motivate and challenge you. Those closest to me bring out the best version of myself.

What does womanhood mean to you ?
Being a woman is a deeply layered and nuanced thing. I don't know if it means the same thing to any two women. I can only speak to how I feel as a woman, and it can be bittersweet at times. I personally feel empowered, privileged, and proud to be a woman.
What inspires you ?
I am really inspired daily, by all women. We are all unique and wonderful in our own way. I don't like comparing one to the next. Being inspired by women drives me to make garments that they enjoy wearing.

Being a woman means embracing your true unique self and your experiences. Being confident in your pursuit of happiness and knowing that your voice is validated and heard. Strength, resilience and beauty defines all women today.
What inspires you ?
People. We love that people have the ability to spark emotions within us and from here creativity blooms. “Surround yourself with the dreamer and the doers, the believers and the thinkers.” Our mum and her mum Louanne, in particular, are our biggest inspiration to Luv Lou.
