As the seasons change so should your skin care. We have put together the ultimate guide to help keep your skin glowing & hydrated throughout the Christmas festivities.
You might be asking….Why should I update my skin care regime ?
Well… As the temperature rises your skin will be exposed to copious layers of SPF, possible sunburn and not to mention salt & chlorinated pool water.
In turn, this can mean your skin becomes more prone to irritation, breakouts or dehydration. To keep your skin healthy & clear throughout summer we have put together our top must-have products for summer skin.
1 - Purifying Gel Cleanser & Microfibre Face Cloth. This hard working duo will ensure all that stubborn SPF is removed from the skin, preventing build up in the pores and in turn breakouts.
2 - Fruit Enzyme Refiner. If you're not removing your SPF properly you will find yourself more prone to congested / problematic skin. To assist in keeping your pores clear, we recommend using the Fruit Enzyme Refiner 2-3 times weekly. This active, natural exfoliant utilises both chemical and physical forms of exfoliation.
3 - Revitalize Face Mist. The perfect skin spritz for dehydrated or red skin. Enriched with calming Cucumber, this facial mist will soothe irritation & redness. Echinacea will deeply hydrate while Kakadu Plum will deliver essential vitamin C.
4 - Hydrating Face Cream. This lightweight, fast absorbing facial moisturiser will deeply hydrate while delivering essential antioxidants to protect the skin against damaging free radicals. We always recommend using the Face Cream in conjunction with a daily SPF.
5 - Elimination Mask. Detoxify your skin with the Elimination Face Mask. Enriched with White Willow Bark extract, this face mask will soothe redness & irritation in the skin. French Green & Kaolin Clay will soak up excess oils in the skin, absorbing acne causing impurities.
If you take anything from this just remember SPF is the most important form of skin care. Protecting your skin from damage so that you don't have to worry about trying to reverse signs of ageing.
Just make sure to include a good quality cleanser that can remove stubborn SPF from the skin!
